BCN Mission Team Testimonies

"I traveled halfway around the world and found...myself." ~ Ashley (Reeves) Barchus after her first mission trip to Africa (2007)

"Seeing those beautiful kids in such a harsh environment was exceptionally difficult for me, know that had I not been adopted from Honduras myself, this is very likely the type of place I would be living....Thinking I would be there for the children was a huge assumption on my part. God had sent me not to teach, but to be taught." ~ Marissa Cagle after serving in and around the orphanages in Honduras (2008)

"Although I feel devasted [by what I see], I realize that if we are His [God's] hands and feet, then He hasn't forgotten these children. He sent us and teams like us to them." ~ Su Cagle after her mission trip to Honduras (2008)

BCN embraces God's command to "go into all the world and make disciples." We understand that, as ambassadors of Christ, we have a responsibility to be His hands and feet to those who may not otherwise hear, much less experience, the good news of Christ. Our servant's heart and passion for missions has taken more than 100 men, women, and even teenagers to two areas in Honduras, several places in southern Africa, and areas within our US borders. If you would like to learn more about how you can support or mission teams or join us on an upcoming mission adventure, contact Pastor Ashley at abarchus@bcnaz.net.
